My win this week: Learned the MCP protocol "the hard way" - read through the specification, analyzed other people's code, and did a lot of experimenting.
Eventually wrote my own Python client for Algolia's MCP server and documented the entire process in an article.
Now I understand how MCP works under the hood!

This week Iโm proud to have completed the BOLT hackathon and my new projects!
Itโs been a full month of intense learning, and I genuinely feel like it has changed the way I approach my projects. I now face technical challenges with much more clarity and flow what used to slow me down is now part of the fun.
On top of that, Iโve started building an app focused on the scientific and health innovation field in Spain, aimed at supporting researchers, lab professionals, and scientists.
This platform will soon be presented at the European Commission as part of a proposal for digital transformation in the biomedical sector. You can check the project here: sciential.ai/
And of course, Iโm really grateful to have discovered this amazing community. The inspiration and support Iโve found here is unmatched. ๐
Beyond something technical or related to my job, I've learned that I should prioritize working on my dreams and goals NOW. I make time on a daily basis to follow what I want to do in the long term. It has been hard but small steps will make me achieve my goals. Do it now and your future self will be grateful!
I taught my almost-three-year-old to use the computer mouse and play the memory game in GCompris by himself!
Oh and I published my third post here (about devcontainer environments) and am working on the next one about AI tooling security. Seeing the comments has been super fun!
